edubkendo, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Thank you for your understanding. Every once in a while even that doesn't seem to work and I'm forced to power off. I've had no idea what the cause was to even report a bug until today when the problem occured twice and both times after rebooting I was told that xorg had a problem and was asked if I wanted to report the bug. However, when I tried to follow the steps to report it, it initially did nothing after asking if I wanted to contact support and me answering no, to file the bug. So I ran xdiagnose from the terminal and am submitting this report that way. I wish I had further information to offer. Hopefully there is something useful in the debug data.
