Rainer Rohde, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Thank you for your understanding. Helpful bug reporting tips: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241768 Title: Applications on the 2nd monitor cannot be accessed Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: This seems to be a regression, as I haven't had that issue before. When dragging an application window to the 2nd monitor, that application window can no longer be accessed using the mouse. Clicking on it doesn't do anything. Trying to drag it by clicking and holding the mouse on the titlebar, doesn't do anything either. Only workaround I found - unplug the 2nd monitor so the application is moved to the primary screen for it to be accessible again. This is new to me, and hasn't occured until I got a new laptop with a Thunderbolt port from which I drive the 2nd monitor. Before, I used a VGA cable to drive the other screen, and everything was fine.
