Vincenzo, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xorg-server REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
1024x768 85Hz display resolution leads to Signal Out of Range

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Release of Ubuntu: Lucid Lynx (beta 2)
This is my display: ADI Microscan E75
  Graphics card: ATI x800xl

If I try to select this resolution: 1024x768 85Hz
My display shows the following message: "Warning - Input Signal Out of Range"
and the display is black.

I don't have problems with other refresh rates (60 and 75).
