  GNOME panel icons distorted after restart

  3) What I expected to happen is after I pushed the power button on a
  Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5934 laptop it started with no problems.

  4) What happened instead is that after I logged in, the trash bin icon
  was visually glitched (please see attached screenshot.png).
