Michael Jonker, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

I then try to switch back to my original account through the stock Ubuntu indicator applet. The open account disappears, but before the password dialog appears the screen hangs on a full black screen. There is no mouse cursor and the only way I know of to get back is to do a force restart by holding down the power button. I am using Intel Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07). This is similar to bug Bug #546578 reported for nvidia card. I am not sure if it is a card issue.
