JPM, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ .

This happened 4 times already since last night. Never before that. At least three of the times it happened right after I clicked the cross at the top to close a window. All three times it was a different program (pidgin, nautilus, chrome). I'm using the default ubuntu theme with gnome. I can not find anything in my logfiles that explaines this and all that I have done in the past 48h was to update my system with apt-get update. No new hardware or software was installed.
