Chong Luo, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better. However, the touchpad-indicator PPA is not a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. Basically I was working in Ubuntu 11.10 64bit on my Thinkpad X220 laptop, and everything looks normal, but all of a sudden, I was shown a black screen (with some white text) and I was logged out. I have to enter my password to log in again, and all my work in the previous login was gone. It seems to be due to segmentation fault in Xorg.
