Title:
Intel graphics backlight stays off on resume from suspend
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Around March 20th to 25th, a kernel upgrade in raring broke a
previously functioning suspend/resume. Now, everytime on resume, the
backlight will not come back on (you can faintly see that the lock
screen window is displaying though). Switching to other terminals
doesn't bring it back, nor does playing with the brightness from the
hotkeys. Only SSH'ing in to reboot it brings it back.
