Bugger_man, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-ati REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
Too low resolution in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with ati radeon 9200 pro

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Currently I can only select two resolution from System->Monitors
(800x600, 640x480). I tried to browse forums to find help for issue.
Previously when I use version 9.04 I managed to change resolution when
I edited XORG.conf file. Now I can't find whole file. This
conversation is very near my problem:

  http://swiss.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1469234

I tested to do all suggested tricks but none helped. I really need to
increase resolution to normal 1280x1024. Can someone helps little bit.
Display adapter is: ati radeon 9200 pro
