Takkat, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-ati REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
Cairo-Dock Applets are invisible in openGL mode

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

In openGL mode some applets but not all from Cairo Dock 2.1.4 to 2.2.0
Beta in Lucid 10.04 LTS are rendered with 100% transparency thus
  making them invisible.

Apps affected are e.g. musicPlayer, dustbin, switcher, system monitor.
Clock or weather applet are rendered as should. In addition some icons
may become transparent when attached to the dock. This can be fixed by
  reloading the icon theme.

Developers of Cairo Dock say this is a known bug with some ATI cards
  http://www.glx-dock.org/bg_topic.php?t=4409&pos=0#mess_56968 and
should be reported to the driver developers.
