Nikola M, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-ati REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful. Thank you for your understanding. I was playing flash you tube videos inside Firefox (about 20 of them one by one) and suddenly, mouse started to move slowly, Hard disc started to work and I after few seconds, lost control over desktop. (even when I was turning numlock on and off, it was slowly. I could not log into console since it was spitting radeon driver errors I could only (slowly) log in with ssh to it, to see with top that Xorg is using 100% cpu, after that, i kulled firefox with pkill and still it was Xorg locked. (Ctrl+Alt+F7 could not switch back to X). Then I killed gsm with sudo and Xorg process but again, could not log in to console anymore, but console stopped spitting radeon errors. So I halt it and reboot it and post this bug.
