Title:
ati mainboard problems with graphics card
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: xorg
There is a problem with initialization of the graphics drivers. I've
tried ATI Radeon 1650 Pro and Nvidia 6200 (also Nvidia 7300) graphics
cards. Both of the drivers fail to initialize as far as I've seen
might be a problem with power control ... or something related. The
mainboard is this one http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model
=ALiveXFire-eSATA2%20R3.0 ... I don't have the latest bios on my
mainboard...I guess should be the one that was shipped with...I've
attached the logs that I get during startup of gdm. Thanks in advance,
and hope this should help u getting even better.
