It's been a while, nobody seemed to have cared about this anymore. I for one started to take a closer look on btrfs and it's snapshot functionality is one of it's most interesting feature to me. So it wasn't long before I was searching for this particular feature to be a part of nautilus. This would be a great addition to Ubuntu and will certainly help the target user group a lot in data management.
Take a look at this, the work itself already has been done, perhaps it would be great to to include it in 14.04? https://github.com/asj/timeslider -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609884 Title: Add "Time slider" panel for btrfs volumes Status in Nautilus: New Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: nautilus Please add "Time slider" panel for btrfs volumes to Nautilus (like in Nautilus for OpenSolaris).
