The dvi port works when connecting it directly to a monitor. The converter and hdmi cable works when connecting it to a Mac mini. I run Ubuntu 10.10 with kernel 2.6.35 but I also tested kernel 2.6.36 for Maverick from the Kernel Team, but with no luck. I also gave the Natty alpha live dvd a try but I had the same experience there.
