Title:
In dual screen mode starting programs the windows does not appears

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I have a 22" inch external screen 1 above a laptop 15" screen 2. It works
more of less, except when I start a new program:
  - the display is full with other windows, because then a new window is put on
the LEFT of display 1 or partly so that only the right part of the window is
displayed. This often happens with Nautilus, Terminal and others.
  - with Evolution (full screen by default?) the windows is always put
completely at the left of display 1 and with ALT+F7, I have to drag the window
to screen 1.

It looks that the system, while looking for the best spot to put the
windows, assumes that screen 2 is on the left, but it is at the
bottom. The added information should show the Evolution window at the
  left of screen 1.
