Agent N2O, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-input-evdev REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful. Thank you for your understanding. Status in “xserver-xorg-input-evdev” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Binary package hint: xorg When waking from sleep mode, I have to be careful not to move the mouse around as the mouse pointer will get trapped btw to two screens of a dual screen setup. Once stuck the mouse will stay stuck in that location and will flash and the whole system will be frozen and need to be reset manually. I have been using the space bar to wake the system and that seems to work. Mine is a multi-user system also and the problem only seems to occur when there are at least two users logged in to the system.
