When I put my notebook into tablet mode and go back to notebook mode sometimes the cursor starts moving to the left and starts acting like mouse clicks are being done, so it looks like the mouse is simulated... (note I'm not moving the mouse or touching the mouse.) I also made a post on: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1657079 for help, but unfortunately no one could help me. We noticed a few things however. It looks like my "xinput -list" shows several mouses, id={9,10,13}: [quote]⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)] ⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=9 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=10 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ PS/2 Mouse id=13 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint id=14 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ Serial Wacom Tablet eraser id=15 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ Serial Wacom Tablet touch id=16 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ Serial Wacom Tablet stylus id=17 [slave pointer (2)] ⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)] ↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ CNA7157 id=11 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=12 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Toshiba input device id=18 [slave keyboard (3)] [/quote] I hope someone can help me here :) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: xserver-xorg-input-mouse 1:1.5.0-2build1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-24.42-generic 2.6.35.8 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-24-generic i686 Architecture: i386 DRM.card0.DVI.D.1: status: disconnected enabled: disabled dpms: Off modes: edid-base64: DRM.card0.LVDS.1: status: connected enabled: enabled dpms: On modes: 1280x800 edid-base64: DRM.card0.VGA.1: status: disconnected enabled: disabled dpms: Off modes: edid-base64: Date: Tue Jan 11 23:18:38 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100816.1) MachineType: TOSHIBA PORTEGE M750 ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-24-generic root=UUID=c34df9d0-57ce-44ba-8da2-09ba39b1111c ro quiet splash ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: xserver-xorg-input-mouse UdevDb: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory dmi.bios.date: 09/10/2009 dmi.bios.vendor: TOSHIBA dmi.bios.version: Version 3.00 dmi.board.asset.tag: 0000000000 dmi.board.name: Portable PC dmi.board.vendor: TOSHIBA dmi.board.version: Version A0 dmi.chassis.asset.tag: 0000000000 dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: TOSHIBA dmi.chassis.version: Version 1.0 dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnTOSHIBA:bvrVersion3.00:bd09/10/2009:svnTOSHIBA:pnPORTEGEM750:pvrPPM75E-00C005DU:rvnTOSHIBA:rnPortablePC:rvrVersionA0:cvnTOSHIBA:ct10:cvrVersion1.0: dmi.product.name: PORTEGE M750 dmi.product.version: PPM75E-00C005DU dmi.sys.vendor: TOSHIBA system: distro: Ubuntu codename: maverick architecture: i686 kernel: 2.6.35-24-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/701695/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
