Dereck Wonnacott, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-input-evdev REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
  System stops responding to mouseclicks

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-evdev” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I resumed form suspend, which normally works fine, and found that my
mouse clicks do nothing. I can still use the system with keyboard
commands, but Alt-Tab doesn't work either.... I am submitting this
report data using only the keyboard, so hopefully the log files
  attached will be relevant.

  Note: right,left,middle - no response

I think this bug may be in another package but dont' know where. :P
  Sorry.

I was able to switch to console and 'sudo restart gdm' and when I
logged in, the mouse was fine. I was also able to use the the keyboard
mouse by pressing shift_numLock, well mostly, it stopped working a few
clicks in but I can't be sure that I just didnt know how to use it and
  messed it up somehow....
