Switch off the touchpad. Valid values are:
0 Touchpad is enabled
1 Touchpad is switched off
2 Only tapping and scrolling is switched off

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
Using Lucid on a Thinkpad T410s, running synclient TouchpadOff=1
toggles the state of the touchpad. It should always disable it.
