Title:
  Xorg freeze

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

Most time I let ubuntu 11.04 deactivate my laptop screen in order of
inactivity, it does not comes up again after a while. (it does not go to
suspend, just deactivate screen.) it happens often. a few days ago, I had to
reinstall my system, after an update of the binary ati driver, installed from
ubuntu sources, because I cant login anymore after update and reboot.
everything I tryed to fix it failed. now I only use the standard driver,
activated by default with ubuntu but that one (I use currently) does also have
problems (like hanging up the system as discribed above) that problems I dont
had in privious kubuntu 10.10 (with graphicdrivers origend from 10.04).
thats really frustrating to get to a newer system and got more problems then
before. :-/
