Title:
  [HD4250] After resume, screen over HDMI is scrambled

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Box is connected to new LG LED TV over HDMI. After resuming from
  standby, the screen is completely scrambled. Like it is broken in
  diagonal lines.

  If the color on the screen are changed, it is visible on the screen,
  but not the shapes. Like bad sync.

  Switching between HDMI ports is very fast on this TV, so maybe there is some
caching envolved.
  It happens only if the TV was turned off (put on standby) during time Ubuntu
was on suspend!

  The proprietary driver doesn't have this problem (has another one, so
  can't use it).

  I have found a quick workaround for this problem by switching screens
  (Ctrl+Alt+F1 -> Ctrl+Alt+F7). This corrects the display.
