So you basically don't see it and you can't see what you're editing. In the single-panel mode, it seems to happen in "Compact" view only, if you scroll the list horizontally so that the file name gets cropped by the window edge. In the dual-panel mode (Extra Pane is on), it happens in both panes, in "List" and "Compact" views.
