Title: 13.10 Installer not allowing to enter SSID (hidden network); no WiFi after install Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: 1. In installer, WiFi as such does work, as other - non-hidden - SSIDs are being listed... just no way to enter a SSID. 2. After install and rebooting into installed system, WiFi seems not to be working then (clicking on the Network icon at the top-right, adding WiFi info via SSID, encryption type and password, does nothing. Probably applies to all hardware on which to install Ubuntu and connect via WiFi, but here are my main components: Asus Maximus VI Formula (using supplied WiFi) w/ BIOS updated to latest version, settings left pretty much to optimized defaults unless required to boot i7 4770k System is stable and known to work in other OS.
