Title:
please default to ubuntu fonts, if appropriate

Status in “fontconfig” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
I don't know if it is appropriate or not, but looking at the:

    /etc/fonts/conf.avail/60-latin.conf

It seems to never prefer any of the Ubuntu designed fonts.

  Why not?
