UPdate: ... yesterday - all of a sudden the LEFT side of the panel (above) appeared only: "Anwendungen" "Orte" (Apps - Locations).
Today - the same two blank black bars - one below, one above desktop. But, Win-Key does not work either (in order to show Applications..) By the way, System Protocol states I would have installed Ubuntu Gnome Shell Remix last April - which is NOT correct. I took a screenshot - maybe this can be uploaded here? :-) yes. ** Attachment added: "wrong installation date... etc." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1247873/+attachment/3962388/+files/Bildschirmfoto%20vom%202014-01-30%2007%3A41%3A30.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1247873 Title: on startup upper panel is black(lower is ok)only on ubuntu 13.10 Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: on startup upper pannel is ok but lower is ok. in console i got (gnome-panel:16206): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accelerator_parse_with_keycode: assertion 'accelerator != NULL' failed ** (gnome-panel:16206): WARNING **: Unable to parse mouse modifier '(null)' *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug this affects 13.10 ubuntu only gnome-panel: Installed: 1:3.6.2-0ubuntu15 Candidate: 1:3.6.2-0ubuntu15 Version table: *** 1:3.6.2-0ubuntu15 0 500 http://ua.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1247873/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
