Summary: X performance is very bad on my HP Compaq dc7800p desktop
computer. For example moving windows is jerky and glxgears in full
screen only achieve 15 fps. The problem exists at least since 11.10.
The problem still exists in 14.04 daily-live 2014-01-08.
