Title:
PPPOE not available over Wireless - Greyed out
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
NetworkManager / nm-applet:
This appears to be a simple design fault in that PPPoE is only
available over "Wired" networks, and the defined PPPOE networks are
greyed out when connected via "Wireless" and not "Wired" connections
are available.
People in the wireless industry make extensive use of PPPoE
connections via Wireless and there is no sensible reason to not enable
connecting PPPoE connections when connected exclusively via
"Wireless".
