Since kernel 3a83f992490f8235661b768e53bd5f14915420ac (14/11/2013),
DEVICE_ACPI_HANDLE() got removed in favor of ACPI_HANDLE(). With
certain hardware configurations, this results in X failing to detect
laptop monitor.
