Title:
Auto-detection of a monitor being added or removed not working

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
With my Lenovo W530 laptop, what is expected to happen is external
displays are correctly detected when the laptop is docked (after being
undocked). However, the user is not given the option to configure
them. I have to go to nVidia-Settings to re-activate the display on
  the two external monitors.
