Title:
Cannot use the external vga display
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
When using plugging to an external vga display, the external screen displays
4 times the computer display, and then both displays freeze.
In other words, the external vga port is unusable.
Note that I used this external display with another laptop using
ubuntu 13.10, and it works perfectly.
