I don't recognise the error. Can you try testing with trusty in case we

Title:
Laptop Intel HD 4000 screen garbled in 13.10 (works in 13.04)
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I have purchase a Toshiba Kirabook
(http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/products/computers/kira/kirabook-
touchscreen/psu7fa-00t00k).
I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 from a USB drive and this works OK.
However, attempting to run 13.10 from a USB drive produces a garbled
display. See attached screenshot.
Note that when I connect an external monitor it appears to work OK.
