I'm afraid there's not much else that I can do here. We can't live-
migrate your old 9.1 instances to 9.3 during apt-get upgrade, *that*
would be scary and a potential major data loss if anything goes wrong.
It might also take several hours on big databases.
Do you have a suggestion how to re-phrase that note to make it easier to
read? (Note that it has been translated into umpteen languages over the
years, so I won't change it unless it is a significant improvement)

Bug description:
dist-upgrading to trusty I get this:
"The PostgreSQL version 9.1 is obsolete, but the server or client
packages are still installed. Please install the latest packages
(postgresql-9.3 and postgresql-client-9.3) and upgrade the existing
clusters with pg_upgradecluster (see manpage).
Please be aware that the installation of postgresql-9.3 will
automatically create a default cluster 9.3/main. If you want to
upgrade the 9.1/main cluster, you need to remove the already existing
9.3 cluster (pg_dropcluster --stop 9.3 main, see manpage for details).
The old server and client packages are no longer supported. After the
existing clusters are upgraded, the postgresql-9.1 and postgresql-
client-9.1 packages should be removed.

details."
I never touched configs etc...
The dialog is very scary and doesnt offer a way to stop/abort/fix the
problem it conveys to the end user.
