Tested the file[1] with evince 3.2.0-0ubuntu1, poppler-data 0.4.4-1 without problem.

All of them printed off OK except one - which the printer refused to print on numerous occasions, coming back with error messages each time. All the files contain Chinese characters - both those that would print and the one file that wouldn't.
