[Solved] - Issue appears to have been corrected by EOG ver 3.8.2-1ubuntu1.1 update.

Since 13.10, whenever I attempt to rename an image that is open in Image Viewer (eog) using "save as", the new file is properly saved, but the image viewer window freezes and the "Save" window above it remains open and cannot be closed. The only way out is to force close/kill Image Viewer, after which the Save window closes as well. This freeze is repeatable.
