I just tried this in the guest session and I can not reproduce this, I
tried all the apps that you mention here.
If you can reproduce this, could you please open it in a terminal and
attach the terminal output of software-center?

Bug description:
Ubuntu Software Center 4.1.23.6, Ubuntu 11.10 beta
1. Switch to a guest session, or log in to a non-administrator account.
2. Launch USC.
3. Navigate to any item that has a screenshot, e.g. Stellarium, Hedgewars,
Periodic Table.
What you see: "No screenshot"
What you should see: The same screenshot as if you were using USC as an
administrator.
