hi, i was watching a tv program as streaming
(http://peer-stream.com/api/embedplayer/?id=france2&e=1&width=520&height=360).
I wanted to close the firefox window of the video, and then the hard drive
started to run like crazy, i could hardly move the mouse on the screen and i
had to shutdown. In the log thereafter, i saw what is displayed in the
attachment ("please report this problem to ALSA developpers" in french in the
log file with 2 errors in snd_pcm_avail() and snd_pcm_delay()).
That is what I do acually :).
My information are tiny, sorry about that and hope this helps a bit.
Good luck :)

Olivier.
