What I do:
Press power button from cold
What should happen:
Plymouth animation displays
Login screen displays
What happens instead:
Screen stays blank
Login prompt sound plays
Workarounyd 1: From login sound, suspend and resume. On resume, screen starts
working.
Workaround 2: Connect external monitor via HDMI, which works. Login. Access
display settings. Turn internal monitor of and on. Click Apply. Internal
monitor starts working.
