Title:
  System (ubuntu) freeze an start a loud beeping

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  This problem happens in my Dell Inspirion 14 (Intel Pentium) when i change
the monitor brightness too fast.
  When I do so, it freezes an start beeping (loud like hell).
  It also do this when i'm not using it, so it also crashes by itself.

  I don't know who (which program) is doing this.
  But I presume is some library that is not loaded, because while i was using
preload it was never happened, but before an right after I removed preload it
happen a lot.
  This is preload=> http://sourceforge.net/projects/preload/

  Thanks to all
  Luís HP Souza
