Title:
Does not wake up after 20sec, had to press the power button to resume
with AC attached, with AC detached pressing power button doesn't
  resume

Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pm-utils

It was expected to experience normal suspend/resume cycles during the test.
Same Suspend/Resume behavior in previous version (8.10) seen with kernel
2.6.27-14.

Test 1(with AC Cord attached): had to press the power button twice, after 20
seconds to resume.
Test 2(with AC cord detached): pressing power button after 20 seconds did not
resume at all, had to manually reboot.

The system suspends successfully every time, never wakes-up automatically.
  The problem is reproducible.
NO flashing caps-lock or any other flashing keys observed.
I have no history of suspend/resume working successfully, on this machine.
