Waking from hibernation should wake up from sleep too

Bug description:
This is how it happens:
* My laptop suspends after a while of inactivity.
* I press the power button that I have mapped to the hibernate action, it
hibernates.
* Later when I wake it up from hibernation, it wakes up then suspends again
as the state it where before going to hibernation.
I'm guessing this is kinda weird as upon hibernation the suspend-state
should be terminated.
I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty.
