IMHO this is not a related bug, but describes EXACTLY the same problem. It's just about PDF, and not generic. But the problem (and possible solution) is the same. Ensure Thunderbird is installed and open. 2. Choose "File/Send/Document as email..." 3. A Thunderbird window with a new email appears. The subject is that of the document's file name, but no document is attached. I verified the document was really not attached by sending the email. The email arrived without any attachments. This problem can be worked around by accessing "Tools/Options/Internet/E-mail" and changing "E-mail program" to "thunderbird". After making this change, the document is seen attached in the Thunderbird window. Previously, the e-mail program was given as "sensible-lomua". I have no such program on my system.
