high CPU load

Bug description:
I swapped the HD out of my ASUS 1001P netbook and into my Lenovo
Thinkpad X200 Tablet. I am still trying to figure out what is causing
these high loads of 100% for one core. It seems to me that network
activity is a contributing factor, particularly if the network is
unstable. I believe many open tabs in FF lead to this situation.
