Title:
ubuntu 13.10 + Radeon HD 6490M - Logging out causes black screen
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I have a macbookpro 8,2 with AMD video card:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
[AMD/ATI] Seymour [Radeon HD 6400M/7400M Series]
It's a Radeon HD 6490M.
I'm booting using refind to directly boot the kernel (no grub).
After upgrading to ubuntu 13.10, whenever I log out by pressing the
power button and clicking "log out" I get a black screen. To get my
screen back I have to go to tty1 and restart the machine.
This did not happen in 13.04
