Title:
screen: Changing "Lock" needs to ask user to authenticate.
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
My son likes to sneak computer time, and one way he does this is to
continually turn the screen lock off when he earns a little computer
time, so he can get on later if his mother or I don't notice, or
manually lock the screen when we stop using the computer.
Maybe there is a way to do this with the present setup, and if so, I'd
love to know what it is. So far the only way that I have been
successful is to chmod og-x gnome-control-center, and then I can't
open the settings from the menu bar widget. This might work for me,
but not for my wife.
