Title:
when restarting the restrat option contained window diaappear and a
disturbed distorted window appears in ubuntu 11.10

Bug description:
so , when in the log in screen if restart button is clicked the window
containing the button disappers and the dilogue box apppears distorted
such like several color dots on a white background ( such as an colour
tv shows when there is no signal). when freshly installed the whole
screen becomes the snme. but now only the dilogue box now after
several updates.
