  Xorg crash using chrome etc

Bug description:
  Keep getting a crash which appears to come from Xorg.
  Have seen a back trace in Xorg.o.log but seems to not currently be there will 
try to repeat and attach.
  Often seems to coincide with entering of  password in chrome, but also at 
other times.
