Although I'm still updating the dictionary every two months, the quality has become rather good, so I would also support including it in a distribution now. If there is interest in getting this into Ubuntu, I would be interested in maintaining it myself. So I'd appreciate if you would contact me.
The dictionaries are available here: https://downloads.spellchecker.lu/source/ (lb_LU.zip, EUPL license) and there's a .deb repository here (the packages are not signed yet though): deb http://downloads.spellchecker.lu/packages/Ubuntu/ ./ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to hunspell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/763823 Title: Add Luxembourgish hunspell Status in “hunspell” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: hunspell The luxembourgish language is aviable now on Ubuntu. It would be nice if you could put "Michel Weimerskirch"s hunspell on Ubuntu natty. For information the package is in EUPL-Lizenz. To get the package you have to enter in the terminal "sudo wget http://downloads.spellchecker.lu/packages/Ubuntu/spellchecker_lu.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spellchecker_lu.list" to get the source where the package is and then as usual update the sources of Ubuntu with "sudo apt-get update" and then install it with "sudo apt-get install hunspell-lb-lu" . Sorry that there is no other way to get the hunspell package easily.... If I posted the bug on the wrong place tell it me too.
