Bug description:
I can't really give many details because I don't know what happened.
I'm hoping the logs attached from Apport shed some light on that. The
Xorg server abruptly stopped (I was switching between windows in
Chrome and Pidgin, but nothing out of the ordinary), dropped me to
console (which said "Checking battery state..." and nothing else), and
then redrew LightDM after about 10 seconds.
