cant load video driver

Bug description:
1 updated to 13.10 and removed graphic card after problems developing .
2 i used the intel graphics installer for linux to load drivers and expected
them to load .
3 run system test and expected to see the driver working ..instead i get this
message "graphics/driver_version FAILED ERROR: No video driver loaded!
Possibly in failsafe mode! "
also checked in software updater and no drivers listed to choose from
.
