I've been experiencing this issue on maverick since I started running
it during the alpha stage, and I just recreated the issue from a live
usb instance of the maverick RC. Here's what I just did with the RC
instance to recreate:
1. Install flashplugin.
2. Open firefox and play youtube video.
3. Left-clicks no longer register.
That's it -- I've experienced this issue after playing wav files in
totem, as well. I can move my cursor around normally, I can right-
click, I can middle-click, but left clicks will not register. I can
reclaim my left-click-ability by running sudo service gdm restart from
a terminal window.
